Ace of the South is a unique store that will offer not only hardware but unique items such as name brand apparel and high end garden products. We will carry Stihl, Benjamin Moore paint, Big Green Egg, Traeger, Yeti, along with Patagonia, Costa and Ray Ban. We are locally owned and will be focused on providing top notch service to our customers. We will be deeply involved with the community and supporting the city's needs. My name is Britt Wood. I have over 30 years experience in Retail in various capacity.
General Summary
Mechanics' tasks vary in complexity and difficulty, such as maintenance inspections and repairs, involve minor adjustments or the replacement of a single part. Others, including piston calibration and spark plug replacement, may require taking an engine apart completely.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers
Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs
Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts
Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts
Reassemble and reinstall components and test engines following repairs
Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used.

Education/Training
High School or GED equivalent.
Experience
Certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing.
