Overview

You’ll manage a book of small business accounts and keep the day to day work moving. You’ll build steady relationships with clients, including senior buyers and day to day contacts, and help match their needs with the right support. This role blends service, retention, and growth.


How you'll make an impact
  • Own routine and moderately complex client accounts, with retention goals in view.
  • Manage an assigned book of business, keep client needs moving, and help make sure service stays on track.
  • Look for ways to expand coverage and add services when they fit the client’s goals.
  • Work with internal partners to address client risk and capital management needs, and build trust with both senior buyers and the people who handle the daily work.

  • When needed, help guide admin support and customer service.

  • May also support an Account Executive or Broker Producer.


About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience

OR

  • High School degree with 8 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience.
  • License required.
  • Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.


Preferred:

  • Prior experience managing client accounts, account portfolios, or a book of business.
  • Ability to work with internal partners to solve client needs.
  • Able to explain options clearly in email, on the phone, and in meetings.
  • Ability to stay organized while balancing account work, follow-up, and support tasks.

Behaviors:

  • Able to quickly determine critical issues.
