Job description

Job Summary:
Cintel, Inc. is a Small Business providing strategies and services to support an array of Government clients in Software Development and Cyber Security. They are seeking a skilled Software Developer to enhance software applications and ensure secure integration with enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop, code, test, and debug new software solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
โ€ข Collaborate with technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
โ€ข Respond to customer complaints, feedback, and requests for software improvements.
โ€ข Assist in the development of software user manuals and technical documentation.
โ€ข Support desktop design, testing, and implementation of security lockdowns.
โ€ข Integrate applications with standard software packages and automated patching/deployment technologies.
โ€ข Automate application and configuration deployments and updates to streamline operations.
โ€ข Provide documentation and training to technical staff and end users.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Masterโ€™s preferred).
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in software development, testing, and integration.
โ€ข Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or equivalent).
โ€ข Experience with C#, Angular, Vue.js, AWS.
โ€ข Strong understanding of business applications, security requirements, and performance optimization.
โ€ข Experience with software packaging, automated deployment tools, and patch management technologies.
โ€ข Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Active Top Secret security clearance (required).
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or government IT environments.
โ€ข Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
โ€ข Knowledge of enterprise system integration and desktop security hardening.
โ€ข Background in user training and technical documentation.
