Job Description:
At Regions, the Small Business Administration Banker facilitates Small Business Administration (SBA) transactions on behalf of Relationship Managers.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Educates associates on the benefits of SBA lending
  • Utilizes external referral sources to generate new business
  • Develops and manages SBA programs and creates strategies to originate SBA loans in the marketplace
  • Develops referral sources to solicit SBA loan opportunities
  • Presents the company's loan capabilities and structures SBA loan proposals
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of SBA policies and structure, product knowledge, and financial analysis

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience in banking or sales

Preferences
  • Prior involvement in generating SBA loans or related experience

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
