Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista/Mixologist to join our team at our bustling restaurant and bakery. As a Barista/Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages, mixing refreshing cocktails, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Role & Responsibilities
โ€ข Expertly prepare a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
โ€ข Create and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, smoothies, and juices, adhering to recipe standards and customer preferences.
โ€ข Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately, providing recommendations, and ensuring exceptional service to enhance the overall dining experience.
โ€ข Maintain high standards of beverage quality and presentation, consistently monitoring freshness, taste, and appearance of drinks.
โ€ข Operate and maintain coffee and bar equipment, including espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and cocktail shakers, always ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
โ€ข Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, spirits, mixers, and other supplies, and communicate inventory needs to management to ensure sufficient stock levels.
โ€ข Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation standards in the coffee and bar area, including regular cleaning of equipment, counters, and utensils, and adherence to food safety regulations.
โ€ข Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations, assist with food preparation as needed, and contribute to a positive working environment.
Requirements & Physical Demands
โ€ข Proficiency in coffee brewing techniques and cocktail mixing methods.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing equipment, and cocktail ingredients.
