Job description

Position title: Small Arms/Armory Technician (Mid)

Location: Camp Lejune, North Carolina

Clearance required: SECRET

Scope: Gunsmiths and small arms repairers โ€” maintain and account for the weapons of an elite Marine Raider force.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Perform organizational/intermediate small arms maintenance and repair.
  • Manage weapons accountability and serialized records.
  • Conduct gauging, inspection, and modification control.
  • Maintain armory security and AA&E standards.
  • Issue and receive weapons and optics, support inventories and inspections.
  • 4 - 8 years as a small arms repairer/technician or qualified gunsmith.
  • Favorable AA&E suitability screening (per applicable Marine Corps orders).
  • Active Secret clearance and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SOF small arms experience; optics/suppressor maintenance.
