Type: Full TimeLocation: Camp Springs / Andrews AFB, MarylandOvertime Exempt: NoReports To: ARMADA HQSecurity Clearance Required: Secret ******************CONTINGENT UPON AWARD******************** Duties & Responsibilities:Program and Policy Administration:The Combat Arms & Training Analyst will support Combat Arms Training and Maintenance program operations by maintaining and using ARIS, IGEMS, TICMS, TBA, and GACP.Assist in developing, updating, and reviewing Air National Guard Combat Arms, ranges, small arms, munitions, and less‑than‑lethal policy and guidance.Support coordination of school dates and training policy development with the Career Field Manager and Training Manager.Ensure project management accuracy, maintain continuity documentation, and provide monthly and annual reporting to leadership.Coordinate funding actions across training, weapons, and Combat Arms programs within NGB/A4S.Equipment and Logistics Oversight:The Combat Arms & Training Analyst will assist with management and forecasting of Air National Guard small arms ranges, modular ranges, and associated funding requirements.Maintain unit range information and coordinate civil engineering requirements, safety standards, and Unified Facilities Criteria compliance.Support modernization efforts through analysis and coordination of priorities for capability development and weapons and tactics initiatives.Prepare monthly updates concerning range operations, funding activities, and equipment requirements.Participate in planning and validation of range‑related needs, future fielding considerations, and infrastructure alignment.Data Analysis and Compliance Monitoring:The Combat Arms & Training Analyst will monitor Combat Arms and Security Forces training data to assess program effectiveness, compliance, and trends.Validate weapon usage, inspections, maintenance, qualifications, and accountability across units.Manage IGEMS and the Management Internal Control Toolset to support unit inspection and compliance preparation.Track and analyze munitions data and training resource allocation to support readiness and program alignment.Conduct on‑site assessments and review automated records to evaluate unit progress and performance.Stakeholder Coordination and Training:The Combat Arms & Training Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert to support enterprise‑wide Combat Arms and training activities, coordination, and communication.Respond to unit inquiries and integrate lessons learned, safety trends, and training feedback into program support.Coordinate with Major Commands, Headquarters Air Force, and NGB stakeholders on training, weapons, less‑than‑lethal capabilities, and funding requirements.Deliver presentations and attend workshops, conferences, and policy forums to represent Combat Arms and training programs.Provide After‑Action Reports and monthly updates reflecting coordination outcomes and program impacts.Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge of Air National Guard Combat Arms Training and Maintenance programs, including ranges, small arms, munitions accountability, qualification standards, inspections, and less‑than‑lethal weapons.Skilled in using and interpreting data from systems such as the Automated Readiness Information System, Inspector General Evaluation Management System, Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System, Training Business Area, and the Global Ammunition Control Point.Ability to analyze training, munitions, and qualification data to identify trends, assess unit compliance, and provide clear recommendations to support readiness and decision‑making.Skilled in developing, maintaining, and coordinating training policies, course schedules, Continuity Book materials, and communications across Air National Guard units, Major Commands, Headquarters Air Force, and program managers.Ability to prepare accurate technical documentation, status reports, After‑Action Reports, and presentations that clearly convey Combat Arms, training, weapons, and modernization program information to leadership and field units. Minimum/General Experience:At least 3 - 5 years of experience supporting Combat Arms Training and Maintenance, ranges, small arms, munitions management, or weapons qualification programs. Minimum Education:High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
