Veterinary Emergency Associate Supervisor

Our Client is looking for an Emergency Associate Supervisor to join their current team of specialists and associates.

About this Role

Join our team as an Emergency Associate Supervisor and become a part of a collaborative and dynamic group of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will not only practice emergency medicine as an ECC associate but also provide direct management and supervision to the ECC and Urgent Care associate doctors. You'll be responsible for attending and conducting administrative meetings with hospital leadership and direct reports to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

As an ECC associate, you'll collaborate with a team of skilled nursing staff, clinicians, and 22 specialists across 8 specialties. We're looking for someone who is passionate about providing compassionate care and practicing comprehensive, quality medicine. You'll also need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to excel in this role.

At our facility, we value education and offer well-established in-house technician training and CE programs, as well as Emergency and Critical Care internships, small animal rotating internships, and residency programs. Shifts include admin days as well as ECC floor shifts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent; all state licensing requirements completed

  • DEA license (state and federal)

  • Internship trained and/or equivalent to 3+ years as practicing Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian, including working overnights in ECC

  • Experience in management roles preferred
