Empower young voices and foster meaningful communication by bringing your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to an engaging contract position near Michigan City, IN. Two highly skilled SLPs are needed to provide vital services across elementary and intermediate school environments for the 2026/2027 academic year. With flexibility in site assignment and scheduling, these roles offer the chance to tailor your impact and collaborate with dedicated educational teams.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Valid SLP state licensure in Indiana (or eligibility)
  • Experience in K-8 or preschool settings working with diverse caseloads
  • Comfortable with collaboration and flexible schedules
  • SLPA supervision experience is a plus, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students ranging from preschool through middle school, with caseloads varying between 70 and 100 students
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Track progress, maintain documentation, and adjust therapy in alignment with student needs and goals
  • Potential to oversee and coordinate with Speech-Language Assistants (SLA) as eligible

Two dynamic placement options are available:

  • Work with developmental preschoolers through 1st grade in a supportive elementary environment
