Job Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and senior populations utilizing standardized tests and careful observations.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy interventions that enhance language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop comprehensive care strategies.
• Educate patients and families to reinforce progress outside the clinical setting.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain accurate and timely records that comply with state, federal, and organizational protocols.
• Enhance your expertise by engaging in ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those who have not yet obtained ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• BLS certification is required within the first month of employment.
