WAGE RANGE: $16.00-$18.00

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of slot machines and other in-house department equipment as assigned for technical service or repairs. Maintain close monitoring of gaming needs to assist with troubleshooting and repair. Participates in installations, conversions, and moves of VLTs as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Ensure customer satisfaction and casino play through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  2. Provide routine preventive maintenance, installation, and repairs for casino VLT machines and slot accounting systems.
  3. Assist floor workers when necessary (paper jams, printer errors, etc.).
  4. Promote effective communication with supervisors and co-workers by participating in regular staff meetings and other forms of communication for all gaming service needs.
  5. Keep on duty Slot Technician apprised of any unusual VLT operational situations or equipment out of service.
  6. Assist other casino WRC departments with preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment upon approved requests.
  7. Learn how to use shop manuals, resource materials, and technical assistance when needed.
  8. Learn how to operate shop power tools and electronic test equipment appropriately and safely at all times.
  9. Learn how to read electronic schematic diagrams.
  10. Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, codes, etc.
  11. Maintain documentation of service or repairs for department and shop records.
  12. Before leaving the shift, clean and organize tech work areas for the next shift.
  13. Promotes a clean, safe, and friendly work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
  14. Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
  15. Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  16. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. One (1) year of work experience with slot floor OR one (1) year of electronic repair or troubleshooting experience.
  2. High School Diploma or GED or ten (10) years' experience.
  3. Need to bend, lift, and maneuver up to 50 lbs. Able to use and maneuver lift equipment 300 lbs. or more. Able to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers. Able to work in a confined space for short periods.
  4. Effective communication skills - verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  5. Able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and in a noisy environment.
  6. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  7. Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
  8. Must be at least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Certification in Electronics.
