Job description

Slot Technician Supervisor
Responsible for supervising, directing, and coordinating the activities of the Slot Technicians.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor Technician performance throughout each shift.
  • Ensure effective Technician coverage during each shift by setting work schedules and assignments, arranging for backup personnel, and addressing attendance issues.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions about slot machine operations and payouts. Provide customers with information, materials and/or assistance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by verifying winners, making appropriate payouts, resetting jackpots and hand pays, required hopper fills and preparing proper required receipts.
  • Ensure all Technicians understand and follow all Tachi Palace and department policies and procedures.
  • Support maintenance of slot machines by obtaining replacement hardware materials as needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Properly trains team members.
  • Monitors associate's performance during their shift. Providing coaching and counseling when necessary.
  • Complete and issue performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all Human Resource policies and procedures, promoting an environment that treats all people with respect, and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations within the department.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must have minimum one-year supervisory experience.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Must have knowledge of gaming rules and regulations and compact standards.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
