About Us

We are a growing video gaming terminal (VGT) route operator in Illinois, dedicated to providing top-tier service, compliance, and performance across our network of gaming locations. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Terminal Handler (Slot Machine Technician) to join our team.
Position Summary

The Terminal Handler is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of video gaming terminals (slot machines) across multiple locations. This role ensures machines are fully operational, compliant with Illinois Gaming Board regulations, and delivering optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and remove video gaming terminals (VGTs) at licensed establishments
  • Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and network issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
  • Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with all Illinois Gaming Board regulations
  • Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and inventory tracking
  • Handle cash boxes and assist with drop processes (as required)
  • Coordinate with location staff and internal team members
  • Maintain uptime and minimize machine downtime across assigned route
  • Assist with new location setups and terminal upgrades
Qualifications

  • Previous experience with slot machines, VGTs, or gaming equipment preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Basic networking knowledge (routers, modems, connectivity)
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass background check (required for gaming license)
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Illinois VGT systems
  • Familiarity with Illinois Gaming Board compliance standards
  • Technical certifications (electronics, IT, or similar)
  • Experience in route-based service roles
