Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responsible for patrolling assigned area to ensure safety and protection of guests, employees and company property
  • Examines doors, windows, gates, etc. to ensure that they are secure
  • Enforces company policies as they pertain to guest and employee conduct on premises
  • Documents infractions and advises management where appropriate
  • Responds to all emergencies such as fire, injuries, property damage, etc.
  • During serious emergencies, may be assigned to assist in the evacuation of company property
  • Escorts casino employees during pit drops, slot drops, jackpot verifications, fill verifications, pit fills/credits, etc.
  • Transport chips, currency/coin and tokens to the different requesting tables/booths
  • Accepts logs and stores all lost and found articles
  • Enforces state gaming laws and regulations including (but not necessarily limited to) the identification and removal of underage persons from the casino floor
  • Responds to requests for medical assistance when required and renders first responder type first aid consistent with company policy and the individual officer's skill level and medical certification

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • High school graduate preferred
  • CPR, AED and Basic First Aid qualified within 6 months of hire and maintain current during employment
  • The ability to read, write and speak in a concise and effective manner
  • Follow instructions and report anything out of the ordinary
  • Work in a noisy and smoky environment
  • Keep company matters confidential at all times
  • Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
  • Identification that establishes identity
