Public Sector market, and the State & Local Government team within Amazon offers a creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you'll be at the center of Amazon innovation.
As a Principal Sales Leader within public sector, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of the State and Local government market. Your responsibilities will include identifying innovative ways to improve outcomes for customers, driving revenue and adoption and helping refine the AWS strategy within this Enterprise segment. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic direction to a highly talented sales team focused on revenue, customer solutions, creating key partnerships for scale, developing the public sector ecosystem, and building momentum in the market

You must will possess a technology sales background that enables you to lead strategy for a team of senior sales representatives with engagements with channel partners and CXO level customers. You will be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute a geographic plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets while also being a strategic thinker.

- Lead strategy for a high performing sales team focused on delivering cloud services and solutions
- Create a clear partner and Professional Services strategy demonstrating the ability to scale reach and drive adoption and great customer experiences

- Lead, coach, and develop strategy for your sales team to make them successful
