Nurse Practitioner - Sleep Medicine (Remote)
Location: Remote (United States)
Employment Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday | Day Shift | Minimum of 36 hours per week
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a growing telehealth team dedicated to providing high-quality sleep medicine services. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive virtual care to patients experiencing sleep disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
As a key member of the practice, you will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, provide ongoing care, and help improve patient outcomes through evidence-based sleep medicine. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive sleep medicine care through telehealth consultations.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with sleep-related disorders.
  • Create individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Complete appropriate coding and billing documentation.
  • Respond promptly to patient messages, follow-up requests, and clinical inquiries.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists or healthcare facilities when appropriate.
  • Adhere to established clinical protocols and current evidence-based sleep medicine guidelines.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license in California (CA) is required.
  • Active California Furnishing License.
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in sleep medicine for candidates available to start within one month.
  • Candidates without prior sleep medicine experience are welcome to apply but must successfully complete a paid four-week sleep medicine training program before providing patient care.
  • Ability to work full time, at least 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Kentucky (KY) and/or Pennsylvania (PA).
  • Previous experience providing telehealth services.
  • Experience working within electronic health record systems.
  • Familiarity with sleep medicine guidelines and virtual patient management.
