Job Description

Main Function

o Senior Data Analyst/Data Modeler 

o The design and implementation of functional and non-functional requirements

o Integrate with existing and emerging bank technologies

Main Duties

o Prepare Functional requirements specification documents in accordance with standard SLDC business practices.

o Define Data Repository Conceptual / Logical Data Model based on requirements

o Physicalize the data model on Oracle / RDBMS Database

o Define Metrics Logical Entities and Attributes

o Perform all levels of data analysis, including data mappings, data feeds, data models, and data transformation as related to an Enterprise Environment

o Develop fully defined logical and physical data models as related to assigned task and/or project

o Provide consultative expertise related to business practices, procedures, requirements, risk management and process improvements

o Implement Stored Process and View to upload and access information

o Test / Validate the information and access

o Test the performance of the implementation

o Liaise with technology team to plan and execute requirements 

Skills / Aptitude Required

o Superior communication skills both written and verbal

o Extremely proficient with MS Excel and Access with emphasis on data comparison

o Hands on SQL data query knowledge and performance tuning 

o Ability to derive data models through requirements gathering with developers and end users

o Experience with data modeling tools like Erwin

o Experience developing both OLTP and Data Warehousing data models

o Solid understanding of relational databases



Qualifications

Qualification / Education Requirements

o Experience preparing and obtaining acceptance of Functional, Business and Technical requirements

o Reference Data Analyst experience 

o Reference Data Modeling experience

o Prior knowledge/experience of working on Enterprise wide Reference Data Systems

o Reference Data domain expertise across Equities/Fixed Income/Derivative asset classes
