Position Summary... What you'll do...As a Software Engineer II at Walmart Global Tech, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and building robust backend systems that power seamless digital experiences for millions of customers. You will work across multiple domains, contributing to the development of scalable services that are critical to Walmart’s digital platforms.      What you'll do: 
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs to support Walmart’s digital experiences.  
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful features and solutions.  
  • Build scalable and reliable systems that handle large volumes of traffic and data.  
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following engineering best practices.  
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in distributed systems across environments.  
  • Contribute to performance optimization, security improvements, and system resilience.  
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.  
   What you'll bring: 
  • 1+ years of experience in Java technologies, Distributed systems and large-scale application development and design.  
  • Hands on experience Spring Boot, REST, Kafka, Cassandra.  
  • Experience with a containerization technology and Microservices   
  • Well versed in CI/CD and exposure to DevOps practices, and monitoring tools.  
  • Strong adherence to SLDC process and Scrum/agile methodologies  
  • Work with Java, Multithreading, Data Structures, Algorithm, Design Patterns and develop robust high- performance and scalable applications.
