The ideal candidate will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life.

About the Organization

At Slate Care Solution Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on delivering patient-centered care with a focus on comprehensive wellness. Our team consists of board-certified Physical Therapists who provide versatile treatment options for a diverse range of patients, including children and adults with various diagnoses. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that emphasizes both professional development and patient satisfaction.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role located at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and tools designed to aid recovery and rehabilitation processes. The collaborative atmosphere encourages communication among healthcare professionals, ensuring that patient care is holistic and coordinated. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, with the flexibility for the therapist to choose their own working hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from various conditions and injuries in the rehabilitation center setting.
  • Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize diverse therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, targeted exercise regimens, and advanced modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress meticulously by tracking treatment responses, documenting clinical outcomes, and adjusting therapy approaches as needed to meet evolving patient goals.
  • Educate patients and their families on optimal rehabilitation strategies, assistive devices, and techniques for independent self-care.
  • Engage in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from pediatrics to geriatrics, with varying physical therapy needs stemming from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, surgical recoveries, and chronic pain syndromes. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with this diverse demographic, providing tailored care that respects each individualโ€™s circumstances and recovery goals.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
  • Active state licensure in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in computer and word processing applications.
  • A flexible mindset and adaptability to change, effectively managing a dynamic patient load.
  • A current CPR certification is essential for compliance and patient safety.
Preferred Experience

While previous experience in a physical therapy role is highly regarded, it is not a strict requirement. We encourage recent graduates as well as those with up to two years of prior clinical experience to apply. Skills in patient assessment, treatment plan creation, and collaborative care are critical for success in this role.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Disability insurance, life insurance, and paid family leave options.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) to promote health and family time.
  • Continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance professional skills.
