This is a FULL-TIME delivery driver position with SkyHook 2, LLC delivering packages to Amazon customers!

  • Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory

Benefits & Scheduling:

  • $22.25 / hour (paid weekly)
  • 10-hour shifts are typical
  • 4-day workweek (40 hours) is typical
  • Schedule for FT Team Members requires a minimum of 1 shift per week on a weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday). We offer a selection of work schedules based on staffing needs.
  • Shift: 10:40 am - 8:40 pm (Scheduled). Might be more or less depending on each day and individual associate. (Subject to changes throughout the year).
  • A minimum of two paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and an unpaid 30-minute meal break

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate delivery van in a safe manner, maintain vehicle cleanliness and refuel/charge as needed.
  • Comfortable driving in all weather conditions including but not limited to: Heavy rain, snow, wind, cold, heat and during limited or no daylight hours.
  • Successfully handle, deliver packages, and complete route on time.
  • Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
  • Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); bending, lifting, reaching, get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.
  • Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
  • Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members.
  • Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
  • Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes.


Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted drivers license
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass a Drug Screening
  • Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is not required
  • Must have good speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
