Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time opportunity.
At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
  • Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
  • Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

CT Technologist, CT Department, Experience;
  • 1-2 Years Radiology Technologist Experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
