Business Analyst (SkillBridge Opportunity)

What you'll do:
The Business Analyst - Sales Applications, Business Insights & Project Administration (SkillBridge) supports the Commercial Bank's sales technology ecosystem, business insight capabilities, and project execution efforts. This role is designed for transitioning service members to gain hands-on experience supporting sales applications, analyzing business performance data, and providing structured project administration support for cross-functional initiatives.
The role is intentionally developmental, focused on learning how sales platforms, analytics, and project governance practices are used to drive banker productivity, execute initiatives, and support informed decision-making, under the guidance of senior analysts and leaders.
This program provides exposure to business analysis, sales automation support, analytics, and project administration within a commercial banking environment. Participants will build transferable skills in requirements documentation, data analysis, reporting, project coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Learn and Support day-to-day administration and optimization of commercial banking sales applications (e.g., CRM, pipeline tools, reporting platforms)
  • Assist with user access requests, issue tracking, and basic configuration support
  • Monitor application adoption, usage trends, and data completeness
  • Document workflows, business requirements, and improvement opportunities

Business Insights & Analytics
  • Assist with development and maintenance of dashboards and recurring reports
  • Perform analysis to identify trends, variances, and performance insights
  • Support data reconciliation across multiple source systems
  • Conduct data quality checks and maintain documentation standards

Project Administration & Initiative Support
  • Provide project administration support for sales and optimization initiatives
  • Track project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Maintain status updates, action logs, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate follow-ups across stakeholders and functional teams
  • Assist with documentation of decisions, requirements, and change requests

What you'll need:
Required Qualifications
  • Active-duty U.S. military service member eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
  • Interest in business analysis, analytics, sales operations, or project coordination
  • Prior banking, analytics, or project experience helpful but not required
Skills & Capabilities
  • Analytical and structured problem-solving mindset
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
