Job description

About Us
Our leading SaaS-based Global Employment Platform™ enables clients to expand into over 180 countries quickly and efficiently, without the complexities of establishing local entities. At G-P, we're dedicated to breaking down barriers to global business and creating opportunities for everyone, everywhere.
Our diverse, remote-first teams are essential to our success. We empower our Dream Team members with flexibility and resources, fostering an environment where innovation thrives and every contribution is valued and celebrated.
The work you do here will positively impact lives around the world. We stand by our promise: Opportunity Made Possible. In addition to competitive compensation and benefits, we invite you to join us in expanding your skills and helping to reshape the future of work.
At G-P, we assist organizations in building exceptional global teams in days, not months-streamlining the hiring, onboarding, and management process to unlock growth potential for all.
About The Position
We are building G-P's Horizon 3 (H3) Discovery Engine-an autonomous unit unconstrained by existing corporate assets, designed to explore radical macroeconomic shifts and AI-agent economies. This isn't an internal strategy team or a think tank; it is an agile builder pod that shifts code, breaks assumptions, and runs fast, low-fidelity experiments to find product market fit.
This is a co-founder-level PM role working in a tight, single-threaded Pod alongside a Software Engineer II / Product Builder. You will have dedicated "air cover" to bypass traditional corporate roadblocks and build net-new business concepts from 0 to 1. This role demands extreme ownership, a relentless bias for action, and an obsession with behavioral validation over internal alignment. If you need permission to act, this isn't for you.
What You Will Do:
  • Extreme Product Ownership: Drive the end-to-end H3 discovery process-framing the jobs-to-be-done (JTBD), building prototypes, and managing low-fidelity experiments.
  • Run Behavioral Probes: Collaborate with your Engineering counterpart to ship weekly "sketchy V0s" and fake-door experiments rather than scalable V1s, optimizing for speed of validated learning.
  • Gather Customer Insights: Talk to target users, alpha participants, and industry edge-cases constantly. Build deep qualitative empathy to uncover latent human needs from real workflows, not feature requests.
  • Manage by Learning Milestones: Obsess over a strict succession of metrics before considering delivery economics or monetization.
  • Ruthlessly Decide: Actively evaluate data points from weekly probes to confidently make "Persevere, Pivot, or Kill" recommendations-treating a quick, low-cost "Kill" as a major win.
  • Defend Horizon 3 Boundaries: Maintain a disciplined focus on radical innovation, calling out and rejecting ideas that are merely incremental optimizations.

What We're Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Engineering Background: You can read code, reason about technical architecture, and partner as a true peer with engineering counterparts.
  • 0-to-1 Product Chops: A proven track record of taking raw ideas from concept to early product-market fit, running discovery, and turning qualitative data into immediate execution.
  • Agentic AI Fluency: You leverage modern AI primitives daily (e.g., Cursor agents, LLM orchestration) and treat AI as a structural foundation to build products.
  • Tastemaker: Strong product sense and design ability. You develop mid-fidelity prototypes independently when required without a designer.
  • Core Data Analysis Skills: Exceptional ability to work with fragmented usage data, behavioral metrics, and qualitative research to generate fast insights.
  • Process and Workflow Encoding: Capable of breaking complex, friction-filled global industries down to their primitives and encoding those workflows into digital products.
  • Extreme Ownership and Speed: You default to action, thrive in unmapped environments, and possess a massive tolerance for ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Past Founder or Co-Founder: Experience starting a venture-backed company or acting as the first product hire at an early-stage startup.
  • Guerilla Growth Hacker: Experience building scrappy, self-serve funnels, setting up manual concierge MVPs, or running rapid landing page tests to capture demand.
  • Complex Systems Exposure: Experience navigating fintech, marketplaces, web3, or heavily regulated global compliance frameworks.

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $206,000 plus variable compensation.
Our ranges are established using objective market benchmarking data for this level of work. Final placement within the range is determined by gender-neutral criteria, including the candidate's relevant skills, experience, and specific qualifications for the role.
Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location. For Full-Time Regular Employees, this position is also eligible for additional compensation as follows:
  • Sales Roles: This position is eligible for a commission structure in addition to base salary.
  • Non-Sales Roles: This position is eligible for an annual bonus which is paid dependent on various factors, including and without limitation, individual and company performance in addition to base salary.

Benefits
G-P values its employees and offers excellent benefits and perks including generous paid parental leave, flexible time off, spending accounts, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, sabbatical after 5 years and more.
Individuals residing, or applying to work, in the United States: California or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, please review the following additional information:
