Job description

General Statement of Duties During Public Skating Sessions, the Ice Skating Rink Guards provide customer service, monitor the skaters to ensure the safety of participants, and to enforce rink policies. Skate Guards may be required to provide basic first aid and report any injuries to public skaters. Skate Guards may be required to provide basic assistance with other rink duties such as handling skates, assisting with birthday parties, and light custodial work.

Skate Guards will be scheduled during Public Skating Sessions which will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (3:30 - 5p.m.), Friday evenings (8 - 9p.m.), as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons (2 - 4 p.m.), and additional holiday sessions and events as required between September 8, 2026 and March 20, 2027. Hours: Up to 15 hours per week Qualifications Must possess high school diploma, and have relevant ice skating experience. Must have or willing to update/obtain a CPR and First Aid certification.
