Position Type: Non-Exempt- Full Time

Shift: TBD, 4-10 scheduling. Must be able to work at least one weekend day.

The Job

Responsibilities in this position include building and maintaining excellent customer relationships, assisting customers with orders, responding to product questions, processing returns, partnering with other departments to solve problems, and assisting customers. An enthusiastic, dedicated, detail-oriented person with a positive attitude who can prioritize, work successfully independently and on a team, solve problems, and have excellent follow-through.

Requirements

 What You Will Bring

  • Communicate positively and effectively with our customers and internal staff through calls, emails, and live chat. 
  • Answer product-related questions from online customers, general inquiries, and internal staff. 
  • Assist with the placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges. 
  • Possess and accurately communicate snowboarding, skateboarding, apparel products, and footwear knowledge. 
  • Possess a willingness to constantly evolve as new ideas and procedures are added to our front line. 
  • Thrive in a team environment focusing on communication, problem-solving, and mutual respect. 
  • Reliable attendance is a must.
  • Analyze specific orders for signs of fraud. 
  • Troubleshoot unusual order fulfillment issues. 
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Note: The position is based at our office in downtown Eugene. The staff rotates one day shift at the Distribution Center in Coburg. 

What You Will Need

High school diploma or equivalent related experience  


What To Expect

The position involves sitting for long periods. There will be periods of standing and/or walking in a warehouse environment-Most of your shift will be on a computer and typing a keyboard. You will use your hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.  You will need to be able to focus on one source of sound and ignore others. It is essential to be able to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand. You will need to be able to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away. There will be times that you will perform physical demands including, but not limited to, bending, sitting, standing, reaching, and lifting. This job involves some lifting of products up to 25 - 30 lbs.


In the Eugene Location, there is an indoor open office workspace.

In the Eugene Location - temperature-controlled climate

In the Coburg Location - the ability to work in a partially climate-controlled warehouse environment.

In the Coburg Location - the ability to work around elevated noise levels.
