Skanska Integrated Solutions (SIS)Skanska provides construction project management consulting services through our in-house group known as Skanska Integrated Solutions (SIS). With a 30-year track record of success, SIS functions as an "extension of staff" and is a trusted advisor to its clients. As your partner and advocate at every step, we enable you to maintain direct control over your project allowing you to stay focused on the day-to-day responsibilities of running your facilities. The Project Engineer provides technical, administrative, and managerial/ field support to Project Managers and Field Managers. The position typically works under direct supervision, performs routine daily activities, and gathers and distributes information. The Project Engineer must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

Project Engineer Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ Years experience working within a project team contributing to coordination, development, and/or tracking of various project needs such as RFIs, submittals, pay applications, document control, project reporting, cost events, schedule updates and close out activities.
  • 1+ Years experience reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings. Ability to outline specifications required for submission to the client along with ensuring construction materials, equipment, and field installations match the approved submittals.
  • 1+ Years of experience in the construction of Commercial building projects (internship experience may be acceptable) with a general contractor/construction management firm.
  • Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Engineering, or e8 years equivalent industry experience.
