Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Contract (6–9 Months)
Compensation: $114,000 – $135,000 annualized salary equivalent ($55–$65/hour)
Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid (5 remote days per month)
Potential for Conversion: Opportunity for permanent hire based on business needs and performance

IMPORTANT – Onsite Requirement
This position does require working onsite in Charlotte, NC and is NOT a fully remote opportunity. The schedule currently allows for approximately 5 remote work-from-home days per month, with the remaining days expected onsite in the office. Candidates must be comfortable commuting and working in a collaborative onsite corporate environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst to support key financial planning, inventory analysis, and process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced corporate environment. This individual will play a critical role in driving financial visibility, improving reporting processes, and supporting strategic business decisions through advanced modeling and data analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess strong FP&A experience, advanced technical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in high-pressure environments while delivering innovative financial insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain financial models to track finished goods inventory sold

  • Develop SKU-level profitability analysis for both ECP and SJV business segments

  • Lead process mapping initiatives to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement

  • Support implementation of new financial processes, controls, and reporting structures

  • Provide daily analytical and operational support for project-related initiatives

  • Consolidate and analyze large datasets to support financial planning and business modeling activities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to support ongoing business initiatives

  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership through reporting and data visualization tools

  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking as needed

  • Take ownership of analytics initiatives and proactively drive impactful business decisions

  • Support process mapping, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives across financial operations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial modeling, or corporate finance

  • Strong experience with data consolidation and business modeling

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

  • Experience working with SAP required

  • Working knowledge of SQL and Power BI required

  • NetSuite experience is considered a plus

  • Proven experience with analytics ownership, process mapping, and financial controls

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and proactively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner across multiple teams

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
