Job description

This is a 6-hour per day Food Service Assistant position at Roseburg High School starting August 25, 2026.  The work calendar for this position is 187 days in a full academic year.
Starting Salary: $17.39 - $22.00, depending on previous experience and education
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance with a monthly District contribution toward premiums and/or a monthly opt-out stipend with proof of other employer-sponsored group coverage. Enrollment in PERS retirement, life Insurance, long-term disability, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance and access to an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) provided. All out-of-district candidates selected for employment (regular or temporary), including former employees selected for rehire, must satisfactorily complete screening tests for illegal drug use (including, but not limited to, marijuana) and a physical/agility assessment prior to the district presenting a final offer of employment.  The position also requires a non-refundable fingerprinting fee of $87.50.
