Site Foreman

Job Summary

Our Client, an established construction and excavation company is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to oversee daily field operations for site development and utility construction projects. This role is responsible for leading field crews, coordinating excavation and grading activities, reading project plans, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate has strong hands on experience in site work, utilities, grading, and crew leadership within residential, commercial, or municipal construction environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a 3 to 5 person field crew on active construction projects

  • Perform and oversee site excavation, grading, and utility installation activities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans

  • Utilize GPS grade control systems and rover equipment

  • Shoot elevation grades and verify site measurements

  • Coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects stay on schedule

  • Track daily crew hours and completed production quantities

  • Maintain safe job site operations and ensure compliance with safety procedures

  • Support residential, commercial, roadway, and municipal construction projects

  • Operate as a working foreman while assisting with field activities as needed

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Foreman

  • Minimum 5 years of overall site work or excavation experience
