Job description

Position Title: Site Superintendent
The Site Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing all site activities and managing subcontractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met. This position is essential in navigating the complexities of multi-family and commercial projects, particularly those valued at over $2 million. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized job site. Managing multiple responsibilities while fostering relationships with various stakeholders is vital for success in this dynamic environment. A focus on continuous improvement and a willingness to adapt to evolving processes will enhance the effectiveness of the role.
Salary Change: $90,000 - $120,000 / Year DOE
Site Superintendent Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate personnel and subcontractors onsite to ensure safe and compliant work
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and municipalities
  • Update project schedules and collaborate with project managers to manage costs
  • Maintain jobsite records, including plans, specifications, RFIs, and daily logs
  • Lead project close-out processes, including punchlists and owner training
  • Ensure job sites and construction offices are clean and orderly
  • Support the development of field staff and advocate for overall competency improvements

Site Superintendent Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of superintendent experience or notable assistant superintendent experience
  • Proficiency with technology and software tools
  • Experience managing projects valued at a minimum of $2 million
  • Familiarity with construction sites and safety protocols
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid WI State driver's license
  • A BA in construction or engineering is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam, Adobe, and Autodesk/Build Software is preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred
