Job description

We're looking for an experienced Site & Utilities Foreman who enjoys leading crews, solving problems, and taking pride in delivering quality work every day.

What You'll Do

As our Site & Utilities Foreman, you'll lead crews performing site development and underground utility work on commercial construction projects throughout the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and supervise sitework and utility crews.
  • Coordinate daily work activities and maintain project schedules.
  • Install sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water mains, and underground utilities.
  • Oversee grading, excavation, earthwork, and site preparation.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and grades.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, subcontractors, and inspections.
  • Maintain a safe, productive, and organized jobsite.
  • Communicate daily with Project Managers, Superintendents, inspectors, and customers.
  • Identify and solve field issues before they become project delays.
  • Ensure work meets Bruns quality standards and project specifications.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience leading sitework and utility construction crews.
  • Strong knowledge of underground utility installation, grading, excavation, and site development.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, utility plans, and grade stakes.
  • Experience operating or directing heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
  • Valid driver's license.
