Job description

We are hiring a Creator Experience Coordinator to be the daily heartbeat of Portland Leather Goods’ creator community. You will be one of the primary faces of our brand to hundreds of emerging and established creators, making sure they feel supported, inspired, and set up to win on TikTok Shop and across social.

Sitting on the TikTok Shop & Brand Marketing team and reporting into our Creator Community Lead, you’ll turn fast, thoughtful support and high-energy community engagement into real revenue impact and long-term brand love. Portland Leather Goods is the number one TikTok Shop brand in the luggage and bags category, and it actively partners with over 700 top creators across fashion, lifestyle, and bags. This role makes that ecosystem feel personal, fun, and worth talking about every single day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Engagement: Actively moderate and engage with our creator communities via platforms like WhatsApp, Circle, TikTok, Instagram, and FB Groups.

  • Creator Support: Provide rapid support and swiftly resolve incoming creator inquiries.

  • Content Coaching: Act as an advisor and cheerleader by offering creators content coaching, constructive feedback, and hype.

  • Trend Monitoring: Monitor content trends, overall brand sentiment, and the health of the community.

  • Relationship Building: Build and consistently maintain strong relationships with emerging, high-potential creators.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in community management, customer experience, influencer/creator support, or a similar people-facing role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, clear, and professional tone.

  • Comfortable and confident on camera, able to share updates, explain programs, and hype creators in short-form video or live formats.

  • High empathy and patience, especially when working with a high volume of inbound questions and a wide variety of creator personalities.

  • Organized and reliable, with the ability to manage many conversations at once and follow through without dropping details.

  • Willingness to work a schedule that includes weekend coverage to support our always-on creator community.
What we can offer you!
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance to keep you and your family covered
  • 401k with company match - We match up to 4% to help you build your financial future
  • Paid time off - We want you to take time to rest, recharge, and show up at your best
  • Employee discount - Exclusive savings on our products
  • Career Growth Opportunities - A dynamic role with room to learn, grow, and advance your career

About Portland Leather

We have come a long way since the garage days! Portland Leather Goods was established in early 2016 by our founder Curtis Matsko. Before Portland Leather Goods, you couldn’t find a simply designed, affordable bag made from high quality full–grain leather. Even if the aesthetic and the price were right, the leather felt and looked cheap, or worse, it wasn’t even real leather! In order to get a beautiful full grain leather bag, you had to spend a fortune. We’re proud to make a leather bag with classic appeal at a price everyone can feel good about.

At Portland Leather Goods, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to join our team.

Employees must reside in a state where the company is currently registered to conduct business and process payroll. At this time, we are able to hire in the following states: Oregon, Texas, Washington, Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, Nevada, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, Tennessee and Georgia.

Portland Leather Goods participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the United States.
