Job description

The Beverage Entertainment Server is responsible for ensuring that our casino guests are provided with an unparalleled service and a memorable experience. The individual will maintain superior interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively with all types of guests in an entertainment environment. The individual will interact with and entertain guests, including occasional dancing and singing upon request, to ensure a memorable guest experience. The individual may be asked to participate in company-sponsored and/or authorized promotions to ensure the success of the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel. The individual must adhere to and maintain all image standards at all times during their shift. Provide excellent guest service while sharing wine knowledge and suggestions to guests. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment for all guests ensuring a high level of customer service.
2. Adhere to all established company and departmental procedures, guidelines, and polices at all times, including to but not limited to guest service, cash handling, sanitation and organization.
3. Required to address guests with a pleasant nature at all times.
4. Required to have knowledge of the casino and events and answer questions when asked.
5. Scheduled shifts may fluctuate based on business demands of a 24-hour casino schedule. Shift assignments may be irregular and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.
6. Report to work on time. Punch time clock at beginning and end of shift, and sign in and out as required per departmental standards.
7. Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times.
8. Assist in other projects, as directed.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
10. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
11. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
12. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
13. Attend all necessary meetings.
14. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Must be able to represent the company in any company sponsored events and promotions as needed.
2. Must be able to actively seek out guests and interact with them, greet and welcome them to our casino, engage in relationship building with the guests and ensure overall guest satisfaction at all company events.
3. Must be able to pose with guests for pictures during any company sponsored event.
4. Must act as an "ambassador" to our casino in any company sponsored events.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2. High school diploma or its equivalency required.
3. Must have entertaining experience (cheerleading, dancing, acting, or playing an instrument).
4. Prior experience in nightclub, cocktail service, dancing or modeling required.
5. Must possess a high profile appearance suitable for a setting to include enhanced dress, grooming and styling.
6. Cash handling, Infogenesis or Micros experience preferred.
Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:
1. Must possess excellent communication skills.
2. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
3. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
4. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Salary Starting Rate:
$10.70
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
