About Our Family
We are a warm, thoughtful, and mindful family of four who recently settled into our dream home in Portland Heights after a year of transition. Our home is filled with the joyful energy of our two young daughters (ages 3 and 5), two sweet hypoallergenic cats, and possibly a rescue dog joining our family. While life is active, we're intentional about creating a home that feels calm, grounded, and nurturinga place where everyone can take a deep breath at the end of the day.
Our family values simplicity, kindness, and being fully present with one another. We prioritize a screen-free childhood 90% of the time, Montessori-inspired learning, music, time outdoors, and a holistic approach to our life. Food is an important part of our family culture, and you'll often find our kitchen stocked with organic produce, wholesome ingredients, and fresh meals made with care. We believe the environment we create inside our home directly impacts how our family feels, and about everything that comes into our home, from the meals we prepare to the products we use.
Like many families, we've reached a point where we recognize that while we have a clear vision for how we'd like our home to feel, creating and maintaining the systems that support that vision simply isn't our strength. We're not just looking for an extra set of handswe're looking for a true household partner. Someone who naturally takes ownership, notices what needs attention before we're asked, builds systems that last, and follows projects through to completion. We hope to find someone who can step into the areas that often fall to the bottom of our ever-growing to-do list, creating the kind of consistency and organization that allows our family to breathe a little easier.
At the end of the day, we're not just hiring someone to complete a list of tasks, we're investing in greater peace of mind. We're looking for a trusted professional who takes genuine pride in creating an organized, thoughtfully run home, allowing us to spend less time thinking about what's left to do and more time enjoying family dinners, weekend adventures, and the everyday moments that matter most.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You're someone who naturally brings structure, consistency, and follow-through to everything you do. Dependable and highly organized, you take genuine pride in doing what you say you'll do. When you commit to something, you see it through, and you enjoy thinking a few steps ahead: anticipating needs, solving small problems before they become bigger ones, and creating systems that help a household run more smoothly over time.
You have a natural eye for what needs attention. Rather than waiting for direction, you walk into a space, notice what's out of place, and quietly take ownership. Completing projects from beginning to end, creating thoughtful systems, and bringing lasting organization to a home isn't just something you're good atit's work you genuinely enjoy. Where others see an overwhelming to-do list, you see opportunities to create greater ease, efficiency, and peace of mind. You're resourceful and adaptable, comfortable juggling the evolving needs of a busy household while confidently shifting between daily operations, larger organizational projects, and special initiatives. With a future home remodel on the horizon, you enjoy helping coordinate moving pieces, keeping projects on track, and bringing order through periods of transition and change.
Just as importantly, you understand the balance between professionalism and warmth. You're approachable, kind, and easy to communicate with while naturally respecting healthy boundaries and giving the family the space to simply enjoy being together. While this is first and foremost a household management role, you're genuinely comfortable stepping in to provide occasional backup childcare when neededwhether that's helping with a date night, preparing backpacks and snacks, or spending time with two curious, energetic young girls. Your calm presence, sound judgment, and discretion help foster trust, and you're someone who can be relied upon with complete confidence. Above all, you take pride in quietly supporting a home behind the scenes, creating an environment that feels organized, cared for, and allows the family to focus on what matters most.
