Summary/Objective:
The Automotive Technician D is responsible for vehicle maintenance, performing oil changes, tire checks and tire rotations, inspecting air filters, fluids and general repairs with efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Functions:

- Executes multi-point inspections
- Accountable for servicing the vehicles of clients.
- Execute oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations and simple part replacements.
- Executes alignment.
- Changes oil transmission fluids and preserve the standard of the vehicle.
- Maintains dealership records and provides information and recommendations to clients regarding their vehicles.Â
- Performs the routine check-up and maintenance of vehicles.
- Checks fluid levels and tire pressure of all types of vehicles.
- Grease bearings and inspect the repairs and renovation of brake systems.Â
- Utilizes a set of different electronic tools to find and correct breakdown areas such as the ignition and wheel bearings.
- Ensure that the engines of the vehicles are functioning well.Â
- Tunes engines.
- Repairs and maintains different service components.
- Communicate directly with service advisors if any additional services are needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to follow written instructions and repair manuals
- Able to anticipate and understand customers' needs and provide viable solutions.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- Valid Driver's License.
Development:
- Needs to build technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic tools.
- Must complete required manufacturer(s) training.
Education and Experience:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of one to three years of progressive experience.
