Job description

Ferman BMW & MINI of Palm Harbor is hiring. If you're seeking increased earning potential, greater responsibilities in the Guest Relations side of the Automotive Service Sector, look no further.
We need Service Advisors with Highline/ Luxury Experience who enjoy meeting people, building relationships and providing a best-in-class Guest service experience. You'll listen to Guest concerns and relay the information to our Service Techs, advise Guests on the care and maintenance of their vehicles and generate more earnings with active selling of service promotions.
Responsibilities Include
- Greet Guests in a prompt and courteous manner, deliver a best-in-class Guest service experience from initial point of contact to stewardship of the service and repair process to delivery of the vehicle back to the Guest.
- Perform walk-around vehicle inspection with Guest and accurately record their comments regarding service needs and vehicle concerns using an electronic tablet.
- Consult with Guest and Service Technician to recommend services needed, discuss any future maintenance, service or repair and ensure Guest has a good understanding of the project.
- Create Service Repair Order detailing all work to be performed and provide Guest with a complete, and accurate, estimate of repair.
- Use phone, text messaging and email to maintain timely and continuous communication with Guest regarding vehicle status, changes, delays or additional work required and any changes in cost estimate.
- Advise Guests on the care and value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Strictly follow the manufacturer's warranty guidelines and procedures.
- Track and control all open Repair Orders written.
- Manage and oversee the workflow and scheduling with team of technicians.
- Schedule maintenance appointment or follow-up service and repairs.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, and company policy, regarding the safeguarding all customer, company, and manufacturer information, as well as Guest's vehicle and property.
- Strive to maintain excellent CSI scores.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Automotive Service Advisor experience required.
- Must have the ability to achieve exceptional CSI scores.
- Bi-lingual with proficiency in both English and Spanish a plus.
- The ideal candidate is friendly and presents a positive attitude, is energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented, has excellent organizational skills and is able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Above average writing, telephone and texting skills, and proficient in using computers and tablets.
- Must be able to explain complex automotive terms and procedures in a manner that's easily understood by the Guest.
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of vehicle mechanics and parts is a plus.
- Good sales skills and ability to work weekends a plus.
- Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License, a safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
