Solace Diagnostic and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor, holding valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW, to join our innovative team. This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing our counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering essential mental health services. Our team utilizes the Simple Practice platform for secure client communications, including video consultations and messaging, ensuring that our counselors can connect effectively with clients without the challenges of physical office constraints.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand the needs and challenges faced by clients.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with clients' goals and preferences, integrating evidence-based methodologies.
• Provide engaging and therapeutic psychotherapy sessions through virtual appointments, utilizing video conferencing technology.
• Continuously monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to best support their journeys.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate client records in compliance with confidentiality standards and practice guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through team meetings, supervision, and peer support groups.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals as needed to ensure holistic client care.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including teens, adults, and couples, each presenting unique mental health challenges. Our counselors are tasked with addressing various concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. This role demands empathy, cultural competency, and a solution-focused approach to therapy, allowing counselors to engage meaningfully with clients from all walks of life.

• Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active license as a mental health clinician (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• Proven treatment planning and mental health counseling skills, demonstrating ability to address a range of issues effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to connect authentically with clients.
• Proficiency in conducting virtual appointments, with a strong grasp of video conferencing tools.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, providing psychotherapy to diverse populations.
• Experience and comfort in remote or telehealth settings.
• Experience working with couples and families.
