Job description



A technology organization is seeking a Simphony STS Integration Developer in Tennessee to design, build, and maintain RESTful API integrations between third-party digital ordering channels and a cloud POS ecosystem. This role focuses on secure, high-performance connectivity, menu synchronization, and real-time order workflows using Oracle MICROS Simphony Transaction Services Gen 2.


About the Opportunity:



  • Shift: Day shift

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Hours: Standard business

  • Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and optimize stateless end-to-end checkout, check management, and payment flows using the STS Gen 2 Checks API

  • Build automated menu synchronization processes using Configuration and Organizations APIs to support pricing, modifier, and item availability updates

  • Implement secure connectivity and authentication using OpenID Connect, OAuth2, and PKCE

  • Build and maintain asynchronous webhook and notification handlers for real-time order tracking

  • Collaborate on integration design, troubleshooting, and maintenance for RESTful services connected to the POS ecosystem


Qualifications:



  • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience working with Simphony STS Gen 2 REST APIs

  • Strong understanding of Simphony hierarchy, Revenue Centers, Menu Item Classes, and multi-tender configurations

  • Professional proficiency in C#, Azure Functions, and SQL

  • Experience with JSON, RESTful architecture, and OIDC token management


Desired Skills:



  • Experience migrating legacy STS Gen 1 SOAP/XML interfaces to STS Gen 2 REST/JSON

  • Experience deploying scalable backend systems within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
