Job description

Receive and prepare beverage orders including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.

Essential Job Functions:
• Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner;
• Receive and prepare beverage orders from food servers, cocktail servers;
• Know what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as “comped” beverages;
• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes;
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays and wiping bar top;
• Maintain and replenish ice supply;
• Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank;
• Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person; never a beer and a shot;
• Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay current on care training;
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
