Job description

Assist Security Shift Supervisor with ensuring compliance with MS Gaming Commission, departmental and company regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Excellent internal/external guest service;

• Assist with Supervising and instructing employees on shift in proper performance of job duties to provide for the safety and security of guests, employees and property;

• Assist in training and briefing staff before each shift regarding the days’ events and any problems to monitor;

• Maintain shift schedule and delegate work assignments;

• Review and approve all reports written during assigned shift;

• Review and approve all arrests; respond to emergencies and any serious incidents;

• Oversee and maintain key security;

• Ensure officers maintain a high degree of professionalism by adhering to all laws, regulations, departmental policies and procedures and Silver Slipper policies and procedures;

• Cooperate with and coordinate requests for local law enforcement and emergency response agencies;

• Assist security officers with assigned duties when necessary;

• Follows direction of surveillance personnel;

• Closely scrutinizes all activities to ensure protection of company assets in accordance with state regulations;

• Properly administers drug testing for post-accident and reasonable suspicion according to company policy;

• Ensures that cut-off procedures are followed;

• Ensures Responsible Gaming and that no minors are allowed to remain on the gaming floor or served alcohol;

• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
