Job Description: The overriding and most important function of each employee is to either directly (by interaction) or indirectly (by providing the key support role to a guest experience) strive to provide the finest in friendly service and quality product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Mix traditional and creative cocktails
  • Pour Wine with basic wine knowledge
  • Process payment
  • Clean glasses and bar utensils
  • Daily cleaning and sanitization of bar and areas surrounding bar
  • Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
  • Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
  • Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
  • Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
  • Preparing and serving beverages
  • Taking food orders, running food orders and serving when needed
  • Upholding local, state and federal alcohol laws to include checking identification
  • Be aware of and enforcing alcohol cut-off procedures.
  • Possess a knowledge of working a register and handling money.
  • Proper stocking and rotation of liquor, beer and wine.
  • Knowledge of food menu to assist guest with questions.
  • Performing daily opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Assists guests in a polite and expedient manner.
  • Performs daily routine chores to ensure neat and orderly appearance of bar and restaurant.
  • Handles and communicates with guests on a one-on-one basis in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Maintains a business-like atmosphere in Noah's at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance and a professional conduct at all times including clean uniform.
  • Basic knowledge of all departments of the resort.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements
Pre-Employment Requirements: Reference check, Job History Verification, 2 years verifiable bar tending experience
Education and/or Experience:
  • TIPS, TAMS or ServeSafe certification desired ABC Training Certificate of ability to complete in 2 months of start date
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have or obtain Idaho food handlers permit within 2 weeks of start date
  • 2 years of verifiable bartending experience or 1 year of bartending and 1 or more years of high table volume serving

Performance Skills:
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
  • Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
  • Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
  • Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive
  • Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
  • Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Good communication skills
