Schedule:
  • Full-time, Nights: 3, 12-hour shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am), every other weekend, and some holidays.
  • Full-time, Days: 3, 12-hour shifts (7:00am - 7:00pm), every other weekend, and some holidays
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree, preferred.
  • Licensed RN currently registered to practice in the State of Connecticut.
  • Psychiatric nursing experience with acute care, dual disorder and eating disorder population, preferred.
  • Med-surg experience a plus.
  • Recent nursing graduates are welcome to apply!
An RN at Silver Hill Hospital is responsible for the following tasks and duties:
  • The assessment of patients throughout hospitalization.
  • The identification of patient problems.
  • Participating in the plan of care.
  • Implementing and evaluating the interventions to meet the patient's needs.
  • Providing and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
