THE LOCATION...

Approximately 1.5 hours away from Atlanta, is Athens, Georgia's first luxury, boutique hotel, Rivet House. With a proximity to The University of Georgia, we are seeking dedicated and experienced team members to add to our growing team and ensure the success of this unique property. The hotel has 50 luxurious guest rooms, an upscale Italian restaurant and bar, a coffee bar and retail shop, and a 2800 square foot health and beauty spa.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a licensed and professional Massage Therapist to join our team of experienced professionals with a goal in providing luxury service to all guests.

What we will ask of you:

  • Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing.
  • Designs specific sessions based on members or guests' individual needs.
  • Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
  • Creates excellent member/guest experience through a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Preferred but not Required: Experience in hot stone, deep muscle, and prenatal therapy.
  • Utilizes other approved modalities, in accordance with Georgia law.
  • Communicate various promotions to clients.
  • Follow all practice policies and protocols.
  • Assists in the cleanliness of the location (treatment rooms and common areas).
  • Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION DETAILS

  • Hourly Pay + Commission + Service Charge + Optional Gratuity
  • Adjusted pay for training hours
  • Tax W-4 with Tip Reporting Included
  • Proven work experience as a Massage Therapist
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, develop a plan of action for client's care, and make a client feel comfortable.
  • Background check required prior to hire
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent with a valid Georgia Massage Therapist license required
  • Must be effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
  • Flexible workdays including holidays and weekends, and offsite event locations when necessary, based on business and staffing needs.
