Child Guidance & Family Solutions is looking for compassionate Counselors, Social Workers, or Marriage & Family Therapists to provide mental and behavioral health counseling services to children, adults and families. Provide an atmosphere of trust, acceptance and hope for all clients, with services including mental health assessments, individual counseling, group counseling, CPST and crisis intervention, and family counseling as needed. Positions available in Akron, Barberton, Cuyahoga Falls and Green!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and small group counseling
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to establish appropriate treatment goals and objectives for clients
  • Plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans
  • Provide guidance to facilitate clients' normal growth and development, and aid in their understanding and solving of current and potential problems


Required Qualifications:
  • LPC, LPCC, LISW, IMFT, or LSW with Master's Degree preferred
  • Experience providing therapy to children and family, including strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of effective behavioral intervention strategies preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software; ability to learn and use Epic EHR and other systems
