Job description

SIGINT SME

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Cherokee Preting is seeking a SIGINT SME to support USSOCOM. The SIGINT SME will assist the USSOCOM staff and subordinate or associated organizations to identify and assist in the development of prudent courses of action (COAs), recommend priorities, train members of the team, and employ technical knowledge for the long-term benefit to USSOCOM operations.

Employees must maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardous duty/combat zones. Deployments may be to a theater of operations with permissive, uncertain, or hostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods.

SIGINT SME Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifies and/or confirms individuals, organizations, facilities, locations, trends, or patterns of interest associated with a high value target or network of interest in a collaborative environment.
  • Coordinates SIGINT procedures with internal and external SIGINT activities to ensure the collection, dissemination, and/or precision geo-location activities adhere to guidance and appropriate directives.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

SIGINT SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Current Top-Secret clearance and SCI adjudicated.
  • Minimum ten (10) years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with five (5) years at the operational level.
  • Highly proficient in utilizing current intelligence related automation, applications, tools, and databases to support analytical efforts and product development.
  • Possess strong briefing skills and be capable of effectively directing and influencing conduct of SIGINT operations.
  • Strong background and firsthand experience in SIGINT analysis, SIGINT systems, tools and databases, reporting, and collection management.
  • Expert knowledge of SOF and/or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and established SIGINT related databases to support analytical efforts and product development.
  • Must possess a valid US passport.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable.
  • Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract.
  • High level of proficiency with NSA and other SIGINT analytical databases covering both DNR and DNI related technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of the most current SIGINT systems, databases and software tools.
  • Ability to maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardous duty/combat zones.
