Job description

American Sign Inc. has an Immediate opening for an Experienced CT Licensed C7 or C8 Lead Sign Installer.

No CDL is required.

This is a Full Time Position working a 4 Day work week- Enjoy Fridays Off for a 3 day weekend!

Hours are Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4 pm with frequent overtime available. Some Travel is required including overnights as needed. Overnight pay plus food & Lodging is Paid by Company.

To be considered, applicants must have the following abilities:

Install ALL types of Interior and exterior signage, mostly Large sets of channel letters and box signs.

Operation of Bucket trucks (Elliott LS49 and V60) , Forklift and excavation equipment as well as rental boom or scissor lifts.

Knowledge of concrete footing installs, welding and electrical wiring for signage.

Perform detailed site surveys.

Perform service work including diagnose and Repair all types of signage.

All work to be carried out professionally following all safety rules and OSHA regulations as detailed in our Company Safety Manual and Fleet Safety Program.


American Sign covers all of New England as well as NJ, PA, MD and DE as well as parts of New York.


We are looking for an experienced Installer who is motivated to work independently, solve problems as they arise and get the job done to the clients expectations in a timely manner..


A Clean Driving Record is required with a DOT Medical Card and reliable transportation.


We Offer 9 Paid Holidays, 120 Hours of Personal Time off (PTO) which includes sick time.

Pay Rate is dependent upon experience and capabilities and can be up to $43.00 per hour for the right candidate..


NOTE- The Ideal candidate will also have the ability to work in the shop assisting with Fabrication occasionally as needed
