Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity In Icu

Join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional critical care services. We are seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to enhance our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure top-tier, evidence-based care for critically ill adult patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill adult ICU patients.
  • Conduct admissions, daily rounds, and manage complex medical cases.
  • Perform procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubations, as credentialed.
  • Collaborate effectively with intensivists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and specialists.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary care planning and quality improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP preferred) or Physician Assistant program.
  • Board certification required.
  • Eligibility for Alabama licensure.
  • Preferred background in ICU or critical care; new graduates with significant ICU RN experience will be considered for NP roles.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
