PM Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of Support Services projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handle any large project assigned by the Director, no matter which part of Support Services. (Estimating, Supply Chain, Project coordination / Management)
  • Manage the project plans and drive the plans to execution.
  • Manages all aspects of the process including budget development, the bid process, project acceptance, quality of work including warranty response, schedules, and financial reports.
  • Plans, schedules, estimates, and coordinates projects with customers, staff, contractors, and applicable parties.
  • Consults with registered architects and professional engineers to assure conform it with customer needs, project requirements, schedules, budgets, safety issues, building codes, The Joint Commission (TJC), and ADA standards.
  • Establishes and maintains courteous and cooperative relations with staff, departments, vendors, and customers, including providing clear communications to appropriate parties.
  • Explain implications of changes to project scope and/or objectives to the client and to the project team.
  • Create or participate in the creation of project documentation like SOPs.
  • Establish and maintain a usable and well-communicated schedule for all phases of a project.
  • Determine project roles of team members based on project requirements, time frames and budget.
  • Determine resource requirements (including staffing, software, hardware, and facilities) of requirements, high quality and acceptance.
  • Responsible for formal signoff on all project deliverables; this will often include coordinating input and involvement from stakeholders.
  • Ensure project meets internal and customer expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy.
  • Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk on specific customer engagements. Escalate these issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and timeline.
  • Work with applicable parties to ensure customers achieve an understanding of expectations, deliverable, dependencies, risks, progress and the bright works development process.
  • If needed, create customized reporting for the customer or team to secure sign off on deliverable or documentation.
  • Communicate progress, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones and other key project metrics to customers and team members.
  • Track and report weekly on percent complete, budget burn, earned value, slippage, project effort and duration to complete, and other key project metrics.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
  • Ability to learn all software systems used throughout the company.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and/or ongoing projects.
  • 3-5 Years of Project Management experience

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
