Job description

Randolph Health is offering a sign-on bonus of $16,000 to eligible Quality Care Manager new hires!
Facilitates the progress of all inpatients and observation patients through assessment and intervention, to ensure quality, cost effective, health care. Performs all aspects of discharge planning and utilization management for the patients in their assigned area, which will include all contacts with third party payers. Reviews patient records for quality indicators as assigned. Serves as educator to hospital staff and medical staff on issues related to discharge planning and utilization management. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Current NC license to practice as a RN. Previous training in utilization management or discharge planning preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Three years working experience in an acute care setting is required.
