Siemens Energy Graduate Program - Distributed New Unit Projects

What You Can Expect
Over two exciting years, you'll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team's daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you'll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
The Project Management Graduate Program supports project managers and cross-functional teams in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to project management methodologies, tools, and best practices while developing organizational, communication, and analytical skills in a real-world environment.
How You'll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You'll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
  • Assist project managers in coordinating day-to-day project activities.
  • Participate in project meetings, take meeting notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Communicate with team members and stakeholders to collect updates and clarify requirements.
  • Support project management process improvements and PMO initiatives.
What You Bring
  • Basic understanding of project management concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
  • A master's or doctoral degree in an Engineering field
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working preferred
  • Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers
Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
