Siemens Energy Graduate Program - Strategic Procurement & Supplier Performance Excellence

What You Can Expect
Over two exciting years, you'll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team's daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you'll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
Within the Blades and Vanes Procurement organization, you will join a globally operating team responsible for procurement, manufacturing performance, and supplier quality of critical gas turbine components. Through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and global suppliers, you will gain hands - on exposure to industrial processes and complex supply networks. In this role, you will support procurement and performance initiatives that enhance reliability, drive continuous improvement, and enable operational excellence in a highly dynamic environment.
How You'll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You'll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
  • Procurement & Sourcing: Support sourcing and procurement activities for blades and vanes components, contributing to cost analysis, supplier evaluations, and preparation of sourcing decisions
  • Supplier Manufacturing & Quality Performance: Contribute to monitoring and improving supplier manufacturing performance and quality, supporting qualification activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Operational Supply Chain: Support operational procurement and supply chain execution, contributing to delivery reliability, and mitigation of supply - chain risks
  • Performance & Analytics: Evaluate cost, quality, delivery, and capacity data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, supporting data - driven actions that strengthen supplier and supply - chain performance
  • Operational Excellence & Supplier Development: Contribute to supplier assessments and improvement projects, gaining hands - on exposure to processes and global supply networks
  • Cross - Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and planning to ensure aligned execution across the value chain

What You Bring
  • A master's or doctoral degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical or manufacturing engineering, manufacturing management, or a comparable field
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working preferred
  • Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is preferred
  • Strong interest in supply chains, procurement, manufacturing processes, and quality management within an industrial environment
  • Ability to work effectively in cross - functional and multicultural teams, with a structured approach to project management and strong organizational skills
  • Analytical and data - driven mindset, with enthusiasm for problem - solving and continuous process improvement
  • High level of ownership, responsibility, and proactivity, combined with critical thinking
  • Motivation to learn in complex environments, take initiative, and contribute to topics with tangible business impact
  • Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel.
